Oh! You Pretty Earrings
We are a 60s and 70s inspired earrings and accessories small business which started in May 2020. We are based on Abbey Road in London. All our products are made here and we are happy to say its all hand made and the only machinery used is the oven to cook the clay.
Oh! You Pretty earrings has been a dream of the creator, myself Jodie for a while. I had been looking at different ways I could make 60s and 70s style earrings which where light and easy to wear. I have had many problems in the past wearing vintage earrings and even modern day earrings. This is due to them being too heavy or they make my ear hurt. My solution was to start Oh! You Pretty Earrings.
During the lockdown of COVID-19 I had much more time on my hands and this is when Oh! You Pretty Things was born.
I have always had a massive love for David Bowie which I wanted to be influenced with in my business. His colours, style and talent was something I wanted to bounce off.
Each range of earrings is named after a David Bowie song an each collection is named after what I feel is appropriate for them.
So far we have had the starting collection and our first real collection called Abbey Road.
Abbey Road was homage to the road these earrings are made on. With a big nod to the Abbey Road crossing and studio. The collection consisted of only black and white. We also introduced necklaces, broaches and hair clips. This was an exciting movement for us to go into a more wider field.
We have a new collection which will come out every month. The next launch of the new collection called "She's A Rainbow" Named after the Rolling Stone song will be out mid July.
